Big Sky Country

Looking for birds I just returned home from Montana, where I spent the Thanksgiving holiday with Mike's family. We spent a lot of time out in the countryside, looking for wildlife and trying to stay warm. The weather was beautiful until the snow came Friday night. Unfortunately, Kamie was not able to come with; she was home in SLC for the weekend. Check out the following photos.

Not as agile as I used to be

Yesterday, Kamie dared me to rollerblade. I made it out of the driveway before I landed square on my ass. So today, we downgraded from rollerblading to biking, and ten feet from the car I decided to plant my kneecap into the asphalt with all my weight behind it. That felt good. Look at my new knee - yayyyyy!!!!

Jamaican me crazy

Well, we just got home from Jamaica, and it was awesome. We spent five days at the Round Hill Resort which was just outside of Montego Bay. The weather was great, the food was great, the strawberry daiquiris were great, and the beach was fantasic. We were there for the marriage of Bridget and Alex, so we also got to catch up with friends.

Florida

Tonight, we are sleeping in the Ft. Lauderdale airport because we have eight hours to kill before our flight to Jamaica, and all of the hotels are full because 90,000 people are still without power here from the hurricane. It's lots of fun, mostly because the same guy keeps getting on the loudspeaker and talking about security. What a boring job. At least he keeps assuring me that I have a free wireless internet connection. Here are the sleeping arrangements for the evening...

Mmmmmm....comfy!
